Do you love action? Do you love a strong heroine and an even stronger hero? I do. The concept of this story came to me late one night as I was reclined in the lounger watching television. My top three when it comes to men other than my hubby are, Duane ‘the Rock’ Johnson, Shemar Moore and Morris Chestnut. There’s just something about them that make me go gaga whenever I see them. That one night, I was watching the Scorpion King with Duane doing his thing and I thought, ‘this would make a really good story if the lead was female and if she had a scorpion tattooed to her body that was in some way mystical and came alive at the most inopportune times. The ‘Scorpion Queen is a compelling tell of a powerful and mystical queen who is trying to save and protect her people and land. At the same time, she has to realized her strongest strengths was giving into the love she has for her intended king. Gabriel is a warrior who will not let anything stand between him and the queen, not even the ‘Protector’ who has killed many before him. When he grows tired of the dream walks he lets Scorpathia know, enough is enough. Together they realize, in death there is life, in life there is love and in love there is rebirth.
